This train was running 30 min late when we saw it just north of Wells, Maine. It is always at a much faster speed at this point. Hope you enjoy!

TWO ARRESTED ON AMTRAK 448

I was aboard the Lake Shore Ltd today when Massachusetts State Police were called to clear two unruly passengers from the train.

Here is the scene in Chester, MA where train 448 made an unscheduled twenty minute stop to allow State Police to board the train.

Amtrak and CSX running neck and neck

Saw this unique situation in Palmer, Ma where Amtrak and CSX were running together.  The Amtrak Vermonter was heading NORTH, while the CSX train continued West toward Springfield.

Way too close to CSX...glad to be alive

While looking in one direction for an Amtrak train, a CSX train snuck up behind me from the opposite direction.  Now it is easy to see why people get hit by trains.  You dont hear them till its too late!

Now I have learned my lesson...stay away from being too close to trains!  This was in Westfield, MA.

This train was going way too slow today. Was already 20 min late..soon to be 40 min late. This was in Worcester, MA.
