Amtrak Lake Shore UNIQUE Locomotive

Here is the Lake Shore in Brookfield, MA.  On its way from Worcester to Springfield, MA.  Check out the graphics on the second loco.  Has anyone seen this unit before?  Whats the significance of the graphics?
