VERMONTER changing power and direction

Saw The Vermonter in Palmer, MA on its SOUTHBOUND trip. Here is where it changes DIRECTION and POWER. Those riding facing forward are now facing backward and vice versa. An interesting way to see the inside world of the railroad!

AMTRAK 150 MPH MANSFIELD, MA

SPEEDING TRAIN.

Eastbound LAKE SHORE to Boston

Saw this in Worcester, MA. On way to Boston. Just two more stops!

DOWNEASTER..Maine to Massachusetts

This train was viewed in Old Orchard Beach, Maine on its way southbound from Portland to Boston. Notice the power at both ends of the train since there is no space to turn the train around during the trip.

LAKE SHORE with SLEEPER

For a long time, the run on the Lake Shore from Boston to Albany had NO sleeper car. This is the first time that it reappeared. It makes it so much easier to just board your train ONCE and not have to move when arriving in Albany. Same thing on the return trip. Stay in the same car all the way from Chicago to Boston.
